Greetings -
For quite some time now I have been paging through the book (four or five times) unsuccessfully
trying to find the passage which starts:
"Perhaps all this is getting at the heart of Englishness .. being happier at being unhappy,
than doing something constructive to change it .."
and ending something like:
" .. and the poverty of nuance in even the most semantically advanced American equivalent"
Would be grateful for any help ..
